Diverse Radiography Position
The independent, motorized movement of the floor-to-ceiling column allows rapid, flexible, and precise positioning of both the X-ray tube and the detector (wall Bucky, table Bucky, or vertical holder) around the patient in sitting, lying, and standing positions without needing to manually move heavy equipment. This enhances workflow, reduces technologist strain, and improves positioning accuracy across all exam types.
lying position
●The patient lies on the integrated radiographic table. The detector is typically positioned under the table in the table Bucky. The X-ray tube moves overhead. For cross-table or decubitus views, the detector can be placed vertically beside the table, moved the column, and tube angles.
●Standard for table-based exams, post-operative imaging, and patients unable to sit/stand.
sitting position
●The flat-panel detector is placed behind the patient's seat, such as a wheelchair. The X-ray tube is positioned opposite the detector at the required height and angle.
●Ideal for patients who cannot stand, for specific seated spine views, chest X-rays in frail patients, or specialized seated joint studies.
stand position
●The patient stands upright, typically facing the detector holder mounted on one column. The X-ray tube (on the opposite column) is positioned at the correct height and distance (SID) opposite the detector.
●Standard chest X-rays, upright abdomen, weight-bearing spine, weight-bearing knees/feet, and any exam requiring evaluation under gravity.
