In Vietnam, a rapidly modernizing healthcare industry, our business, despite a relatively late start, is steadily growing. We successfully install lots of ultrasound systems annually in numerous hospitals and clinics. We are focused on providing reliable and accessible solutions. Through partnerships with several distributors, we are actively participating in a market that is poised for stable growth in the coming years.
In Laos, an emerging market in urgent need of improved healthcare access, we supplied so many various ultrasound systems, covering B/W ultrasound scanners DW-750 and DW-580; 4D ultrasound machines DW-T30, DW-P30 and DW-T50; and also the basic color ultrasound equipment DW-L3i and DW-F3i, to the region in 2024. And most importantly, Dawei Medical's products have always received wide acclaim from customers and distributors in the market of the Laos, and they highly recognize our services. This is also an important reason why our sales in Laos can increase by about 20% every year. This figure reinforce the rationale for Dawei Medical's decision to select Laos as the first stop on this market deepening plan.
South Africa is a strategic and established medical technology hub in sub-Saharan Africa. Here, we achieved annual sales of $400,000 in 2024, with nearly 500 Dawei ultrasound and ECG systems in operation in both private and public healthcare facilities. Our network of specialized distributors enables us to effectively serve this complex market, which boasts the continent's largest healthcare industry and a constant demand for upgraded medical infrastructure.
This long-term business trip to Vietnam, Laos, and South Africa consisted of a series of intensive, professional, and in-depth communication and training sessions, delving deeply into the daily operations of our partners and the practical needs of our users.
Technical Training
Our after-sales engineering team provided basic product operation training, as well as guidance on optimizing image quality for specific clinical applications (such as obstetrics and abdominal scanning). Training on maintenance procedures was also crucial, enabling local technicians to perform basic troubleshooting. This was a two-way communication process, allowing our team to understand the unique local usage habits and environmental factors that impact the equipment.
Gathering Product Feedback
Nothing can replace seeing our products in action. We visited local hospitals and clinics, not only demonstrating features but also consulting clinicians about their experiences and suggestions for improvements, which allowed us to gain insight into user perspectives, such as their desire for AI functionality and the need for ease of use and intelligent operation in high-volume departments.
